Privacy policy
Your data, simply explained.
This page explains what information I collect through this website, why, and what you can ask me at any time. Last updated: October 2026.
Who is responsible
Romain Brachet, wedding photographer based in Paris, France. Contact: romabrachet@gmail.com
What I collect
- When you fill in a form or the questionnaire: your first names, email address, phone number if you give it, your wedding date and venue, and your answers (your story, your wishes, your budget, the photos you chose).
- When you visit the contact section: an anonymous count of visits and of the steps reached in the questionnaire. It uses a random number created for each visit, with no cookie and no personal data.
- Your language choice (French or English) is remembered in your own browser only. It is never sent to me.
Why
Only to reply to your request, check my availability, prepare a quote and stay in touch about your wedding, by the channel you chose. You agree to this by ticking the box in the questionnaire or by sending me a message. I never send newsletters and never sell or share your information.
Where your information is stored
Your answers are stored in my Google account (Google Sheets and Gmail). Google may process this data outside the European Union, under the safeguards provided by European law. The website also loads its fonts from Google Fonts. The sample gallery is hosted by Pic-Time, which has its own privacy policy.
How long
I keep your information for up to two years after your wedding date, or after our last exchange if we did not work together. After that, it is deleted.
Your rights
You can ask me at any time to see, correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you. Just write to romabrachet@gmail.com and I will reply within one month. If you think your rights are not respected, you can contact the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
